Welcome to Port Bàn - on the West Coast of ScotlandPort Bàn is a secluded haven, situated near Kilberry on the beautiful unspoilt coastline of the Knapdale Peninsula, where you can take pleasure from panoramic views across the sea to Islay and Jura. The sheer beauty of the landscape and the rich diversity of wildflowers and wildlife makes Port Bàn an interesting and peaceful retreat for those who want to get away from it all.
For the 2016 season, the Port Ban Management has decided to hand over the running of the Shop and Café to a separate entity run by the Port Ban Tenants for the benefit of the Tenants and other visitors. This is an experiment for the trial period of a year for the main purpose of increasing the use of these facilities by attempting to revitalise the products on offer and reduce prices. Any surplus funds will be used for projects deemed by the Tenants Association and the Port Ban Management to be for the benefit of Port Ban Tenants and holidaymakers.
New menus just published for the café are up on the Shop and Café page

Argyll is beautiful and you can swim, bring your boat, paddle a canoe, go fishing, rock-pooling, cycle, walk or take a day trip to explore the area, at the same time discovering some of Scotland’s finest local food; it also is a place where children can benefit from the freedom and space Port Bàn brings. Many are content to relax in the tranquil atmosphere, whilst camping, touring or enjoying the setting sun which can be seen from every static caravan.
